During his first year at I.M. Terrell Elementary, he achieved 100% achievement with his 3rd grade class. He was promoted to math coach at Charles Nash Elementary and that is where math fluency in problem solving was created in a physical form. Students achieved 90% or higher in every grade level every year Dr. Johnson was there. That form is still being used with the Fluency Practice Sheets in our workbooks that are intended to build the same form of fluency in math that is created in reading. THROUGH REPETITION!
Math Fluency in Problem Solving workbooks are intended to get students fluent in the language of math through repetition of basic facts, math computations, and word problems for each standard in your states’ curriculum.
